Manti Pageant 2009

Last night I went with Jenny and her family to Manti to see the Manti Mormon Miracle Pageant. It took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to get to Manti. On the way their we saw a DUP Marker which I was excited to see. The pageant didn't start until 9:30 p.m. so we had plenty of time to wait around for it to start. We took turns walking around and taking pictures and watching little Carston. We took a picnic supper with us and ate, visited, looked around, took pictures and bought a couple of treats. Jessica and Matthew, and Carston had their picture taken with some of the cast members and I took their family picture as well as some temple pictures and pictures of pioneer homes in the area. There are many miracles connected with the pageant, but most of all it is a great missionary tool for teaching the Gospel message and the restoration of the fullness of the gospel. The Lord's plan of Salvation is also beautifully explained and portrayed. It brought tears to my eyes. It was a fun evening and we had a good time.
