Two weeks ago some of our DUP Company went to Kaysville Elementary School to do a pioneer program for 4th graders who are studying Utah history, which includes pioneers coming into the Utah Valley. We sang songs, taught them a round dance, played pioneer games, told them pioneer stories and and red poems. Everyone seem to have a great time. Even the principal got in on the fun. This Wednesday will be doing it again and in May we will be going to Burton Elementary School. It's fun to be a part of teaching these students about their heritage.
